Hi there.

Just needing help to choose the right psu for a new system.
Its to install in an Antec P182 (I know)
From reading views of others, its seems I need a psu with extra long wires.
I dont want to install, then find I'm short short a few cms at the top of the board.
Be running 2-3 hhds, 8800gts, 3-4 fans, nothing ott.
I was thinking, go for an Antec Trio 550.
But better to ask 1st to see what others have done.

regards T

Well the only cable that you are likely to have problems with is the 4pin power connector on your mobo. I know that when i had my zalman it only just reached it. Someone i knew at LAN last year had the P180 whom also had a PSU whose 4pin connector wasn't long enough. So his solution was to have the PSU hanging from the 4pin connector on the mobo and his PSU was only fixed with just one screw.

You should be alright as long as you buy a decent brand of PSU.

You can buy 4 pin extention leads for £3
