I have an Opteron 165 overclocked to 2.7Ghz without any increases to voltages etc, and with this overclock the RAM was kept below DDR400 using dividers.
I changed my RAM to 2 x 1GB PC3200 modules today, and I cannot seem to get my CPU past the stock 200Mhz clock (1.8Ghz CPU Speed)
You can see what I have tried below, and how only default speeds seem to work:
To improve Vista performance, I have now lost around 33% of my processing power
Am I better off buying another 2 x 512MB Geil Golden Dragon and using 4 x 512MB to make my 2GB?
