When I switch my machine on, it initializes the bios to the point where "memory" comes up on the screen then it just hanges? Does this mean a memory problem? I have tried each stick of memory seperately still the same thing. Any help would be appriciated.

Try running memtest 86+ and see if that throws up anything.
