I'm trying to set up a router for a friend. He has broadband through BT, which works fine with the intel supplied usb modem, however when I connected a new netgear DG834G router the light that shows the connection status flashes orange.
The router is accessible through ie and the network side of things seems ok, it just won't sync.
I Tried the router on my line at home and it syncs there.
This has all come about as he's had his laptop replaced with one that's running vista and I cannot find any vista drivers for the intel modem.
Is it likely to be a problem with his line that stops the router syncing, or are there any settings within the router to adjust
