Problem with Samsung T240HD

Hi there,
this morning i got my T240HD delivered from overclockers. I set it up so that my laptop screen is turned off and only the T240HD displays stuff. However after i restart the computer it is fine up til the moment that i have enterd my vista password. It then reverses to normal display settings ie both displays nect to eahc other. And then even though everything is displayed on the T240HD screen i have an overlay that says "Check signal cable." If i then change the settings back to just the samsung screen, the overlay check signal cable thing wont dissappear.
I dont know where to go from here while this is just about ok to write for support it is obviously not a solution for anything else.

Perhaps if you used a program like Ultramon (is there a vista version?) you could set the 240HD as your primary display and disable the laptop monitor. This may work. No harm in trying.

i have jsut spoken to smasung customer support again, and finally managed to get someone capable on the phone. THer currentlyseems to be a problem with the t220 t240 monitors firmware, he will contact me again on saturday or monday when he knows more.

I've just got myself a T240HD so would like to know how you get on with this, though I haven't any problems.
