problem with SB and cas 9?!?!

i dont usually take any notice of things like this, but someone was telling me they had to dump a load of CAS 9 RAM, meant for SB i7 setups, because there is a problem using SB and CAS 9 :confused:

this just doesnt sound right... is there any merit to this or is he talking out of his derrière?

If there's a problem with CAS 9 and Sandy bridge, someone better tell me . . . I've shipped hundreds of systems set up like that :eek:

Joking aside, there's no issue with CAS 9 and SB chips.
