I was online last night and tried to play with Void twice,

On the first time the graphics were on ultra and the computer crashed out,
(had to restart)

On the second time the graphics were on high same again computer crashed and i had to restart,

Then i went back on and found a multiplayer game on my own 3 v 3 with the graphics on high and it was fine,

I then found a 3 v 3 game with the graphics on Ultra and i was fine all night,

Why would my PC crash out when connecting to a player in the same channel as me (OcUk channel)
I didnt try to connect with anyone else so i dont know for sure that its a problem when i play a game with someone in the OcUk channel.

Any Ideas?

driver issues, overheating gpu will cause the hard crashes regardless of where you are in the game (be it ingame or in menus)

sc2 uses a lot of bandwidth, my router hates the game big time and will often crash out bc of it.

helps if you put ur specs up.

your gpu is pretty old, it no doubt hates the game at ultra/high. (although the game looks basic it still milks the gpu especially when theres a lot on screen)
id imagine putting some of the settings down will stop the crashing.

The gpu is getting changed soon anyway,
But its fine playing on ultra with lots happening, it only crashed when i connected to someone in the OcUk channel in game,
I didnt even start moving anything on screen and it crashed, But as i said when playing with a random person on ultra its fine,

Very strange, have you tried different teams/maps with the OcUK person? Could be something simple that your GPU doesn't like.

Have you tried using MSI Afterburner during your gaming, just to be sure it's not your GPU? I'd want piece of mind that your GPU is OK.

It might not be the case, but when SC2 come out their was a problem with it overheating GPUs when it was actually doing less because it uses a variable frame rate, ie when their was a lot of action it brings the fps down to stop lag and sluggish gameplay, but when it was quiet (especially on menu screens etc) it was cranking up the fps (so it looks slick and fast), but of course this was causing overheating.

They have addressed this since, but still, your card is pretty old, I'd double check your temps.
