problem with screen display on particular res

Evening all,

I've just purchased a XFX 6200 128 DDR AGP graphics card to replace my broken Ti4400. I don't play games so didn't see the need for anything more powerful.

Card went in fine, drivers from disc installed - restarted etc. However when I try to turn up the res to 1280x1024 (native res of 17" tft) it only displays the left hand 2/3 of the screen! obviously tried auto adjust on the monitor but that makes no difference!

Driver issue?

have tried drivers from nvidia - still no change.

there may be options to adjust the screen on your nvidia control panel which you can access via display propertys
