Im having a problem setting up Vista 64bit for the first time
I recently got a brand new computer, it hasnt been used until today when trying to install Vista.
I get to the point where windows is expanding the files and then i get a error message saying it cant find a certain file and then a few seconds later i get a blue screen of death saying
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. check your hard drive configuration and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption and then restart your computer.
Do i need to install any drivers before hand?
My specs are
Asus P5Q motherboard
Intel Q9550
XFX Geforce GTX 260 XXX
4gb RAM
1000gb hard drive
All of it is brand new, Including Windows Vista 64bit (which i got today)
Any one know what the problem is?
