Hello Alll,

A friends computer is having this problem,

It seems that some games i install, i get an error "the program can't start because srvcli.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Now this isn't with everything, but it does happen when i install League of Legends for example. I've also been getting crashes on WoW and bugsplats on League. I think it could be related. I have changed my ram from an 8gb to a 12gb and it seemed a little bit after this problem started. I do get Memory Management blue screens on occasion too, with a few page fault ones. Maybe the blue screens are a different problem, as it's been happening before i added a new power supply and a new ram.

Any suggestions would help a lot.

Thanks.

All I can think is the blue screening has corrupted a dll file on the system maybe only thing I would say do is
Format and reinstall
As for the blue screens do a mem test and see if it pass' s I had a problem with a MB not liking the ram if two stick were used

Did you go into BIOS and load optimised defaults when you changed ram and have you updated your Bios to make sure it has the latest stability and compatibility fixs?

It has come up with this message!

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them - From SFC

Cheers

You should run memtest86+ for at least 2 passes, see if it fails. most likely you have picked up a bad set of ram or its incompatible.
I've had a friend who had this problem. As the ram is not functioning 100% it messes around with files when windows update etc is going on as the file gets corrupted when being read from the RAM to be written to the system files
Might need a nudge on the ram voltage or memory controller. Or RMA it.

If SFC failed then you do have corruption in your Windows install and if SFC was unable to fix it you could try Windows repair utility on a restore disk or the original Windows disk.
