Installed the full game, ran it and my monitor complained of an unsupported refresh rate.

Installed 1.01 patch (hoping it would allow me to fix the problem), ran Stubbs in Safe mode, went to the Settings menu and it asked for a username. I entered a username, and it changed to the unsupported game resoloution.
I quit the game (I had a lucky guess of the keys to quit), and tried to run in safe mode again, and joy! I get the intros in the unsupported resoloution!
Apart from when I had an Olivetti monitor which could only do 800x600@56Hz, this is the only time I have had problems with my monitor being unable to support resoloutions.
Even if I have to edit the registry or some INI file, I'll do it - just let me play the game!
