Problem with TFT screen - With Pic

Hi there

My dad has got a 22 inch DGM monitor. And this problem has happened over the last month or so.

We get a message pop up in vista it says. Optimal resolution is not set, but its the highest the screen can do. And its always been set to it.

The pic below is basically the problem. He gets really bad streaks.

I dont know if its the monitor or software or settings?

Any other info thats needed, just ask

If its an analogue connection, check the cable.

This happens at college sometimes. Just have to wiggle the cable and tighten it to fix it.

Thanks - Sorted it a treat. Would have never have guessed that as nothing has been moved. Guess it just come loose

If you still get an "optimal res not set" message just make sure that as well as being at he screens native res, you are running at 60hz refresh rate from the graphics card

Thanks. Nah it's all sorted loose cable was causing the problem
