Problem with Thunderbird and Hotmail

Hi all,

I have a problem where Thunderbird keeps downloading the same messages over and over. It only happens when i open the program and not when i click 'Get Mail'. It seems to forget that it's downloaded those messages as there is only one instance of those emails when i log into hotmail through firefox.

Any help will be great

Nobody has any ideas? It's getting really annoying
