Problem with upgrade

Hi all,

Having a bt of a problem with my upgrade today. Just got an e6750, and EVGA nforce 650i ultra and 2gb Geil RAM (the one on this week only) to replace the RAM CPU and mobo in sig. Connected it all together and everything seemed fine. After spending afew hours trying to load SATA drivers for win xp install (It turns out 6 old internal floppy drives and around 35 disks are all broken) I eventually got them on by making a slipstreamed disk with nlite. It gets around half way through the install, after I've entered my CD key ad region info and then the computer just resets itself. When it reboots the win xp splash screen comes up for a second or so and then it just resets again. I have disconnected everything non-essential and have tried installing with each stick of RAM in each slot (onto my 11th attempt now). Any idea what might be causing this??

Any help much appreciated

edit: I've just noticed it doesnt actually reset during install, it finishes install and restarts at the end to do the first load of windows, but windows doesnt load, just restarts.

I recommend making a post on the nlite forums, hosted on msfn.org..
Quite freindly and knowledgeable over there :)

OK, think I've tracked down what the problem is. I think its something to do with the raid. When I break up the array I can install windows to a single raptor and it works fine, its only when they are in raid that the problem happens. I put that latest drivers into my slipstream disk so it would seem strange if its that. Any ideas anyone??

edit: also updated to the latest bios - didnt help
