My desktop is coming up to around 3 years old now, and I guess she's holding out pretty good, she's seen a few upgrades, but it would appear I now have a problem with my USB ports.
My portable hard drive has stopped working so well, sometimes I have to unplug it and replug it in, now it would appear it does not want to work at all, but it works fine on my laptop. Equally, sometimes my USB wifi receiver does not work in one port, it does not even have a light come on, so I have to move it to another, sometimes back to one it wasn't working on, on another occassion.
What can be done? Can I download drivers for my USB ports? Or do I have to go and buy another card to stick in my PCI slot?
