Problem with Wifi

Hi guys

I've just bought a new wireless router (Linksys router) and I'm having major problems connecting to it with my laptop. It connects fine but every 2 minutes or so (random between 2-10 minutes) it disconnects, and I have to reconnect manually - having to put the security password in each time. Does this sound like a common problem, or does anyone know any possible sollution to this?

never herd of this problem before, check their website to see if there is any updates for firmware or drivers for your router or nic.
 
Sorry...it's the one listed on this site. I have changed from WPA to WPA2 and so far it is working without a hitch...It's hard to tell as it's completely random so I'd need to be on it for a good hour to make sure it's working properly.

OK you've narrowed it down to 6 (3 ADSL, 3 Cable, not including the AP's as you did say Router) but this isn't 20 questions you know ...
