Hello, I have a problem I hope you guys can help with.
Ok so a while back I gave my computer to a friend with a blank new Hard Drive for him to install windows 7 RC on.
Now whenever I power on the computer in the mornings/when I get back from uni, the computer goes into a windows error recovery loop, where neither option does anything but loops back to the same screen. If I keep powering the computer off and then back on eventually it gets back to the system restore screen but that ends up not doing anything. However sometimes after this screen, windows will successfully start (Even when I click cancel on the restore screen).
Simply restarting the computer or powering on the computer 10-20 minutes after shutting it down doesn't create this problem, it starts windows fine.
Oh and I also got the student discount version of Windows 7 Pro upgrade and installed that recently, so it's not a problem with the RC install.
Bear in mind that when windows does start, it works fine (Bar windows explorer crashing issues, can anyone help with that also?
)
Does anybody know what could be the problem? I reset the overclock thinking it might be that but apparently it wasn't.
Thanks in advance.
