Problem with windows installation :(

Hi all. i just finished setting up my new parts that arrived 2 day and i was going to install XP Professional. I formatted my HDD on my bros pc and i ran windows installation. It started OK but then i get an error saying :
"Windows did not detect any hard drives on your system..." i formatted the HDD again and i still got the same message.
Can any1 help me on this ? Id be very greatfull to any1 helping me with this.

If the Hard disk is SATA then you might need to load drivers for it. does the BIOS detect the hard disk?

Sounds like that. Hit F6 when prompted by windows setup. Then stick the floppy with the sata drivers in. These should have come with your mb.
