Basically, it worked fine until my computer closed down when I was away, when I restarted it everything was fine except the live messenger, when I go to sign in, it just stays on the blue twirling men, they just keep spinning, after a while it just stops and doesn't sign me in, and if i press cancel, it becomes laggy, I am unable to close it, and the two men start to lag as they spin around. Eventually it just says that windows live messenger has stopped working, and I can either close or find a solution and close, neither have worked. Also a message comes up saying windows live communication platform has stopped working.
I run vista, and windows live messenger *i think* is the current, most up to date version.
I'm really stumped as to whats caused this problem, anyone got any ideas?
