Hi guys,
I am hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction.
I currently have a Netgear 108Mbs Wireless ADSL router (DG834GT) sat down stairs in my living room.
My desktop PC is in my bedroom & I have a WG111T USB stick connected.
Every now & again my internet connection will drop out & it's as if the PC cannot find the USB device connected as that drops out also after a while. I have to keep disconnecting the USB stick the re-connecting it.
It mainly happens when I start to download a file from the net for example the iTunes update as half way through it drops out.
My signal strength is on 2 out of 5 bars.
Should I really be using this method for my desktop or would I get a more stable network if I replaced the USB stick with the internal PCI card?
Oh, I am also using Windows Vista 64 bit.
