Hi folks,

I noticed loading CS:Source up a minute ago, the menu screen is all 'fuzzy' Still perfectly readable, but it looked like some sort of background 'noise' going on...

I've now gone back to windows and noticed it, its hard to notice in Windows but it is apparant.

I've tried using the 2nd DVI port on the card, and same thing, is the card at fault or is it the monitor?! Or even the DVI cable?
Temp is 48 degrees here in Windows.

I understand its incredibly hard to help with what it could be with such little description,

It's almost like 'ghosting' its a moving sway of pixels, but the whole screen...

It's not a dual link dvi cable, its just the one that came with the VX924 Monitor.

EDIT : I have tried another DVI cable ,and the same thing occurs. So it's not the cable...

No idea? :(
Heres an example screenshot

Most noticeable in the box bit, It's doing it even when viewing the screenshot for me, so it seems to be most visible in that colour!

I might RMA mine then, its a HIS model also.

I think they are diagonal on mine also, it's strange because even that screenshot of the problem is 'moving' when im looking at it on this webpage!?

Heres another example on a C&C webpage...
I worry if you lot can actually see it on a screenshot or whether only I can :(

I've had enough, its being RMA'd but what is the reason I should use?

I think that is basically my point :( You guys can never see what I explain because the problem is only at my end :( The screenshot itselve is even 'moving' when I look at it, so the graphics card HAS to be at fault.

I have tried another DVI cable AND another monitor, and it still happened, so it only leaves the card...

As for firefox...Maybe :D

How would I describe this fault for an RMA? That it doesnt display textures correctly?

Can I still RMA it?

Because basically im fed up with it, if its not the noise issue, its this, CS:Source crashed after playing for 10 minutes! (Its been fine before I changed GFX from X850XT)
And after paying £330 im not happy. I am using Cat 6.3's but I think ATi's influence on me has now gone.

I bought it 12 days ago.

What if I just want to RMA it as I want to change to a 7900GTX? As the noise is bothering me as well.

Or does an RMA have to be more than just the above?
