I have a small problem where in party chat my Xbox controller shows there is a headset connected even when there isn't, so when I try to use my wireless headset it binds to player 2 instead of player 1.
I have a second controller which works fine but on plugging in my chatpad, it shows that a headset is connected again even though there is nothing plugged in to the chatpad, the only way to get the wireless headset to bind is to start the controller without the chatpad then turn on the wireless headset and finally connect the chatpad to the controller.
Is there a fix for this or is it simply a case of buying a new controller/chatpad?
