Problem

Hi, I just bought a new computer, but the cable I got for the monitor isnt suited for the graphic card ( DVI ). And I am suppose to have this thing that connects to the DVI output and allows VGA cable to be inserted, but I am not sure which one is the cable, can anyone show me a picture of it pls?

The one on the left is DVI and the one on the right is VGA

Usually you wil lhave a VGA cable and an adapter as pictured above if you have DVI port on your graphics card

most likely will be top one, could look like bottom one aswell though
