Right, not sure what's going on and not sure I've what done/the gf has done but...

Nearly every website I visit, I get asked about the site's security certificate and whether I want to proceed looking at it.

I cannot log on to MSN anymore, with any account.

If I login in anywhere (on these forums for instance), when I next come back, I have to re-enter my details (even though I've ticked 'Remember me').

Anyone got any idea what's going on? Thanks.

You on your own network? no other users / open access point?
SSL issues sound awfully like a crappy MITM attack... but it could also be something a lot less sinister (read, don't worry)

.. And while your replying.. run through pea0ns suggestions :P

FYi - it was because my computer date was set at 2010. It now works as normal now it's back to 2008.

Strange!!

Makes sense though. If an SSL cert tells your PC it expires on such-and-such a date, and your PC sees that (seeing how it's "2010") it's out of date, it's bound to ask. As for remembering logins - the session cookie will have expired the moment it hits your machine - because it was placed on the machine in 2008 but you're accessing the site again "two years later" in 2010 :D

Pretty cool problem though lol Glad you got it sorted.
