I guess this is some problem with the mobo....
Just built my new PC, and when I boot it instead of booting Windows it comes up with a screen saying "CPU Fan error: F1 to continue"...
I press F1 and it takes me to BIOS and then I have to exit BIOS and it boots Windows from there. It is really annoying and I can seem to fix it, could anyone help? This is what i've tried:
Setting the BIOS to "Ignore" the CPU fan/the CPU fan's RPM
Checked the cable is in for the fan - It is running normal
Checked other random cables...
I heard somewhere it may be something to do with the fan running at a lower speed than the PC wants it too and therefore it is saying error because of it's slow speed. However it's speed is fine (about 460RPM, it's a BeQuiet cooler) and my CPU is idling at about 25-27C mainly...
Cheers.
