When I got home yesterday vista told me I had 12 new updates to install which I did. After the reboot, i couldn't connect to the web anymore. I looked at my NIC adapters and every time i clicked on one of them, my CPU would go shooting up to 100% utilised and basically do nothing. I then did a system restore to before the updates were installed and everything was OK again. I installed the updates a 2nd time and now the same thing is happening. Has anyone else got problems with these new updates ?

I had the same thing, ended up going back to XP as the system restore didn't seem to solve it long-term.

Got a new m/board now so not using an Nvidia one. They obviously broke something somewhere with the new updates.

I had the same problem with an update for my onboard LAN so rolled it back and just dont accept that update.

I keep getting drop outs on my front usb ports after updating. Only seems to happen when the UAC asks for permission to access a program
