hiya. I have a 'OcUK Extreme P170EM 17.3" LED Full HD Intel Ivybridge Processor, 1600MHz DDR3, ATI HD 7970M 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card' which I bought last year and never had a problem with until I decided to update the 7970 drivers yesterday. Now the card isn't being used. If I start a game it just throws up directx errors as its only using the integrated card. Have tried a roll back and system restore but neither works? Have also noticed that the catalyst control centre has lost many functions, particularly the ones you could alter to favour performance over power usage etc. The 7970 is shown in the BIOS and on the hardware manager but just not being recognised or switched to???? Any ideas...pulling my hair out!
