Bit of a strange one.
We have a handful of users who get problems sometimes when trying to attach any type of file to an email.

It is always when they are replying to an existing email and generally when there are a lot of replies in the body of the email.

They click on the attach file icon, browse to the location of the file and then click attach and nothing happens.
No errors or anything.

They all have Outlook 2010 and we run Exchange 2010.

Usually they can work around it by either creating a new email and copying the text into that or going to reply, saving as a draft then restarting Outlook.

We had this issue, it was due to the timeout period when typing emails, outlook creates the message in the drafts folder, if its in there for too long this happens (occasionally you get access denied messages)

It's actually an exchange issue (cant find the MS article) and not an outlook bug, upgrading to exchange 2010 sp3 fixed for us :)

Ah, right.
Well, we've just done a full update on the Exchange servers so I will wait and see if it happens again.
I think it did occur just before the update but it isn't consistent as to when.

we get it every now and again, seem'd to be images in email signatures, deleting them allows them to attach.
