Guys

I have a 30Gb Video Ipod and a new Xbox360 with the new dashboard. I have installed the optional ipod media software though every time I connect my ipod to the Xbox360 it sits saying "Do Not Disconnect"

I have left it for hours and just looks like it isn't recognising the Ipod. I have disabled disc access in Itunes and tried again but still the same thing.

Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

I am fairly sure that iPods need "disk mode" turned on to be "seen" by the 360. I have a touch (which is not compatible with 360, like iPhone) so cannot check.

Is it possible you have turned off disk mode in iTunes? (Been so long since I used an older iPod I cannot recall if that is even possible.

I only mention this as the reason iPhones and iPod touch do not work is because they have a new OS on them which does not support Disk mode (mass storage device does not show up when I use it with a computer).

Edit: Just re-read and you say you have tuned off disc mode?

I have tried with both disk enabled and disabled. Next step is to wipe my ipod but would be a pain to load all my songs again and Microsoft support is pretty slim on the ground for this.
