problems in setting up Netgear WG602 access point

I can set up the AP wired from my pc and when that is disconnected everything goes to pieces.
I have changed the AP SSID to NETGEARAP and my pc can see the AP wirelessly.
The AP is connected to my SKY router through a homeplug. I can't seem to get the router to see the AP.
When I connect to the webpage of the sky router it only shows my PC as a connected device.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Left it on while I went to footy, came back and I was connected to the internet via the access point!





I hate networking.
