Problems installing 3D marks 06

As sugested in the title I can't install 3D marks 06. What type of file is it because when I run it I get asked for a password and it trys to extract. Whatever password I enter I get the same error message 3dmarks.exe is not a supported archive. I don't understand why it has to extract as it's a .exe extension anyway
