Problems installing hdd into xp system

Hi

Ive just installed a new samsung f3 1tb drive into a system. The drive has been found by BIOS but and the driver has been installed into xp, but the drive is not shown in my computer. Im sure there is a setting to change which will allow me to see it, i just cannot remeber what it is.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Right click "My Computer", click "Manage", then click "Disk Management".

Right click the new drive in the right pane, then partition in and format it... voila!
