Hi every
Currently trying to install an Asus GT 730 into my HP pro 3400 microtower i5-2400, 4gb ram, 300w standard psu, this uses the Foxconn 2abf mobo.
I went for this card due to its low power consumption, price point & the fact it's powered solely from the mobo rather than a 6 pin. I already have to many expensive hobby's & for the amount I use the PC for any kind of gaming it isn't worth me spending a load of cash on better card as much as I'd love too. But it would be nice to improve on the igpu & gain a hdmi port.

Well all I get when I install it is a black screen with an underscore in the corner (no bios)
So far I've updated the bios to 7.16 which is the last one the did (I think this card may only work with 8 onwards)
Installed the drivers
Defaulted bios settings
Turned off uefi leaving legacy on only (although It wouldnt boot up like this as the boot manager is in uefi not legacy, maby I did it wrong)
Also tried disabling PCI SERR# Generation
Checked the slot is enabled in the security
Tried disabling the igpu, which broke the PC, I had to clear cmos to recover it.

I'm about to give up & sell it & try another card, there's a gta 5 YouTube vid of a guy successfully using my PC near enough with a GT 610, which is only £30 but I'm finding it hard to believe that this GT 730 can't be made to work

Thanks
Matt
