Problems installing NVidia drivers on new PC

Hi I've just got a new PC and I am running Windows 7 RC on it.

I have tried to install the graphics card driver but about mid way through the screen goes black with the sound of when a USB is plugged in, the image reappears and then a few seconds later the screen goes black saying no input. The PC remains on with no display.

Any reason for this or any advice?

The card is:

Thanks =D

It came without an OS - I had a look at earlier drivers on the NVidea site but wasn't sure what to choose.

I'm already waiting for OC to get back to me regarding two other issues with the machine so I guess I'll add this to the list. :rolleyes:

I've got some older drivers installed now but on start up I get the following error message:

Error in NVCPL.DLL

Missing entry: NVStartUpRunOnFirstSessionUserAccount

It seems this is to do with the old drivers not being fully cleaned off before installing newer ones. Is there a good way to fix this - there seems to be numerous driver cleaners about, which one would anyone recommend?
