I've had my pc for a while now and I've done formats a few times aswell. I was trying to format it just now when suddenly this error popped up when I tried to load.

When I click OK it scans for drivers then stops and said that it couldn't find anything. This is the first time it happened. why?

What HDDs do you have? How are the SATA ports configured in the BIOS?

The short answer to the problem is that you need to put the appropriate drivers on a floppy or USB key then hit Browse on the dialog above and pick the drivers off the appropriate drive.

I'm sorry I might sound a little angry, but in my time of owning this pc I have formatted over 20 times just by throwing the CD in and reinstalling vista. Never had I heard about this driver crap.

Now i'm about to sell my HDD and this happens when I try to format the information. Why?

I don't know what a SATA port is and I've only got ONE 500gb hard drive.

Again, sorry to sound so enraged, ut that's exactly how I feel right now. Having formatted it countless times before by simply tossing the vista CD at the cd drive I just can't get over something like this just hours before selling the damn thing.
