I have installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 1.4 in Virtualbox in win7 and anm trying to get it to connect it to win7.
I have set some of the mint folders to "share" and the windows drives are already set to share because i can access them on a different linux box. I have also edited the smb.conf and nsswitch.conf files to best suit windows sharing.
My intial question relates to the fields in the "Connect to server" box as i think i might not be entering the right info
In the server details section what goes in these fields?
Server ------ i tried //obsidian and obsidian -- whats the correct format?
Share ----- i tried c:/
Folder ----- i tried /Games (one of the folders on the windows c drive) and /
but i get ERROR message - "failed to mount windows share" or "the folder / cannot be opened on obsidian"
