Recently having moved my computer , it's not working.

As soon as I plug the lead into the psu, it powers up, fans spin, lights go on, this is without me pressing the power button on the front of the case. It stays powered for about 15 seconds, then it just dies. Then about 2 seconds later it powers again for another second then dies again. At no point during the power on do I get a signal to my monitor, I do get power to my keyboard and mouse. I was thinking a short or something, having opened my case I can't see anything to cause it. Any ideas as I'm really stuck!

Does sound like its shorting. Have you tried it outside the case?
I haven't and I'd really like to do that as a last resort, it was a lot of effort getting it in the case in the first place :P

in fact, I just realized, now that its turning on without the power switch being pressed, its obvious where the short is

Haven't been able to find any short so far, does anyone think it could be the cpu cooler not making proper contact? I heard if a chip is overheating the whole thing shuts down
