i am currently trying to overclock my AMD 3000+ but when i take up the FSB, it causes the PC to reboot before booting into windows, if i use the overclocking software i got with my M/B i can get it upto 2.35GHz stable but it doesnt keep this after reboot, is there any programs i can use that will keep it at 2.35 after reboot?

Are you locking your PCI-E fequency? Lowering the HTT multi? Putting your RAM on a divider?

Seems like your just entering the bios and wacking the FSB up with no other changes. :)

all i can change is FSB and voltage and i dont want to increase voltage, the PCI-e is locked and has its own controler

I can't say for sure as i don't have that board, but if you can only change the FSB in the bios your not going to get very far.

try tweaking the memory timings, i can get my 2.6 to 2.9 but thats with more volts.
i'm running 4-4-4-12 T1 and that seems to be good.
Is your memory up to spec ?
