I have an email which i would like to print out (email confirmation of flights) which i am having problems with. On the comuter screen the email looks fine in standard ennglish characters, but when I try to print it out the text comes out of a "gobbledygook"/intangible.. makes no sense.
I have tried printing with 3 different printers with both PCL5e/PCL6 and UFR drivers, as well as usng MS XPS writer, MS Office Document Image Writer and acrobe acrobat to create a PDF.
Anyone have any other ideas how I can print the email.. I need the email confirm as it doubles up as my e-ticket.
Thanks in advance guys :)

I tried that but I can't get the whole think into one screendump.. i have copy and pasted into word as a backup and printed off.. but I would like to be able to print off the actual email

Anything in your printer driver settings that lets you dictate which font to use if the printer doesn't have the font contained within the document?

It might be trying to print to a non-western char set font?

nothing like that available from what I can see... its funny how it can be viewed fine on screen but even when you print to file using Adobe acrobat, MS XPS writer or Ms document writer it doesn't print/copy across fine.

Not really, windows can display the font fine as it's installed, but typically a printer will only have a handful of "installed" fonts. If it's a particularly obscure one, it might not have a dedicated in place replacement, or know how to parse it properly as a bitmapped font.

Certainly seems print driver related anyway.

but will microsoft XPS and microsoft document writer not have all the same fonts as windows?
