Problems Removing Epson Drivers + Printer

i somehow make a mess of installing the drivers on my PC for my epson wireless printer, i uninstalled all the epson stuff and i still have the printer showing in my printers list. Even if i remove it when i reboot its there. If i install all the software again i then find i cant use the scanner as it throws up an error.

so me thinks i need to remove all the existing driver and install it again

i did the install on my laptop too and the scanner and printer work fine. Its my pc that has the problem.

I had trouble with installing the Epson drivers too. On my system I had a popup saying whether I'd like to update to the latest drivers as soon as I plugged the printer in but this never happened on my Dads PC (Same clean install of OS) so I had to dl it from their website, the automatic installation never worked so I had to use manual and guess which USB port it was connected to ..
