Hi all i am having problems running 2 leadtek 6800gt cards in sli mode , the performance is the same (near as damn it ) in 3dmark 05 with one card as it is both cards , had a quick go on need for speed most wanted and the fps arent much different with one card or both , i am using 84.21 drivers and the enable multi gpu is ticked and in Ai selector it says dual cards .

So if anyone has some ideas please post , i did have a look around the forums but nothing has helped .

cheers mick.

What Motherboard you got?? my motherboard (Gigabyte) had a card that needed turning around to enable sli, maybe your board has somethingsimilar have you missed that? 3d mark should almost double when you got sli enabled I go 6500 single to 10,000 in sli with 6800gt's

edit### sorry just noticed your sig,, dont think your board needs any adjustment for sli,,

If its above 8.5k or so then you are on the right lines. (clicking on your link brings up my Orb not yours)

Thats strange when i clicked on the link it showed my score anyway i got 9081 in 3dmark05 with cards at stock and amd64 3500 @ 2.4ghz 283x8.5 just testing at the mo .

Just had a go on far cry with patch 1.3 4xaa and 8xaf @ 1280x1024 running fraps with the benchmark on the first level i got a average of 72 fps that seems good to me , what do others get ???

That score is excellent for GT's @ stock.

Far cry sounds good too. I am currently looking around for a second 6800 Ultra now. I fancy a tinker again with SLI.

Another ultra would defo increase performance for you , what i like about this mobo is the space between the cards so at least there is half decent airflow , i will try some more benchmarks and game but fingers crossed they are working properly now :D .

What sort of fps do people get in need for speed most wanted ??? i got a average of 33 with 4xaa 8xaf @ 1280 x 1024 , and has anyone got 2 of these in a sli setup ???

Artic Cooling Accelero X1 Cooler (6800/7800 Series) (SY-001-AR)
The Accelero X1 is SLI compatible with all mainboards and offers in such a configuration exactly the same performance. In contrast to our NV Silencers, the Accelero is 100% BTX compatible, thus a DHES is not possible/necessary anymore. The hot air is removed by the BTX airflow. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing keeps oil inside the bearing and thus reduce friction inbetween and keep the noise level to a minimum. The motor holder consists of a rubber part at the centre to act as a vibration damper. It can help absorb the vibration of the running fan and prevent vibration transfer to the heatsink and the case. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing offers a unique 400''000 h MTTF at 40°C. Therefore we grant a unique 6 years warranty.

- Supoorts nVidia 6800 & 7800 Series Graphics Cards
- Fan Speed: 500-2000 RPM
- Air Flow: 9.82 CFM
- Noise Level: 0.4 Sone

Was thinking of getting 2 to make my pc quieter and lower temps .
