last week I bought the components to make my new gaming rig i've got a

windows xp Pro SP2 32bit
3gig Core Duo CPU
2gb Corsair DDR2 Ram
an Asus P5k SE Mobo
Nvidia EN8800GT 512MB graphics card
450V power supply

now when I try to play any game I get a BSOD displaying:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

any help would be appreciated since I'd like to know if I need to send any components back

is there any recommended Memtests? I'm using sandra at the moment and it's triggered the problem but i can't tell where due to not having the paid for version

i don't have a rewriter nor can I get the external device version to work is there any others that are any good?

test ran once, without an errors which according to the documentation, means theres no errors with the memory, unless it's highly obscure

do you mean format the hd? i've done that already no change, going to pick up a new psu tonight and see if that fixes it

I was actually going to go with a new decent one rather than a new cheap one :P and the o ne i'm using atm came with the case, am just dling the 3dmark06 test and then will post again once thats run

I know this_is_gav has recommended make but i'm currently unsure of what type to go for, does the ATX2.0 matter when it comes to cases? since I have a Gigabyte Poseidon case and need a PSU that fits

New PSU came, no difference, I am guessing now that it is either the GFX card itself or the PCIE x16 slot on the mobo, i'm tempted to move the GFX card down to an ordinary PCIE slot will that make a difference do you think?

attempt number 2, just took my gfx card out to send back and put my spare in it's an Asus EN7300LE 256mb and the same problem still occurs, so if it's neither the ram, the psu, or the gfx card whats the problem?

something my friend just pointed out, theres inconsistancy between my Ram, I have 2gb of ram and VM is 2gb and my friend said it should be 3gb at least, so perhaps the ram is faulty and the mem test didn't pick it up?
