problems setting resolution on titanfall 2...HELP!

I have just got a 40" 4k tv (mostly for films and ps4) but thought I would try a few pc games,most have worked fine but in titanfall 2 it wont even let me choose as high as 1080p?? wtf?

the highest ithe resolution slider will go is 1600x900? anyone know why its doing this?

Quoting so he gets notification. Always post the fix you never know you just might help someone else in the future.
Nothing worst than trying to fix something only to find a thread saying FIXED but with no information on the fix.

Titanfall 2 runs on source so go into the documents folder for respawn/local/videoconfig and maually edit where it says "setting.defaultres" to "1920" "setting.defaultresheight" to "1080" and it will work this also works for Nvidia DSR. There are a few other tweaks too if you check the thread you can see my link where Nvidia give you tweaks to further boost the graphics through the same config.
