Problems setting Vcore

Hi i just got a new motherboard because my last one failed and i'm having problems setting the Vcore its like its always set to auto.

The broad is a msi z77a gd55 and the cpu is a 3770k i've tried setting the Vcore to 1.19v and lower but in core temp & HWiNFO64 it still says its 1.24v.

cpu frequency is on auto and its set it self to 3.90ghz when i set it to 3.50ghz the vcore is a lot lower but i still cant change it.

I have a feeling i might be adjusting the wrong thing i've only just got the mobo so its all new to me.

I use the bios to change settings i was just using CLICKBIOSII for screenshot

Vid isnt the same as V-core, CPU-Z etc will give you your v-core figure core temp is showing the Vid.

Eg My VId at the sec is 1.146 v but the V core is 0.984 v
