I got a new dell 1440p 144hz monitor and put my other 1440 60hz and my second. But since then in pubg I getting random crashes don't get as many when going full screen and turning off other monitor. What do people reckon?

Try without the 60hz screen also connected.

Also pubg is an unpredictable and unstable game at best. Wouldn't put to much on the line around that game.

Will try that later when get home from work. Occasionally comes up with memory error sometimes just back to desktop but deffo better when full screen so other monitor does have something to do with it. I have a GTX 1080 so would have thought I would struggle to play a game even with a 1440p 2nd monitor when only on desktop on that screen.

his specs (in his sig)
72600k @4.6GHz, GTX 1080,
16Gb Ram, Dell U2711u 27" 2560 x 1440
1TB Samsung SSD,+ 2nd Monitor Dell 2403.

Main question, whats your PSU and how old is it?

Thanks for all your advice. After trailing many different things I found that underclocking the gpu worked and it's now no problems. It's a zotac amp version. Only had to reduce core and memory by -50. I have unlocked the voltage in settings and suspect I can increase to maintain original clocks or even over clock so next question is what's maximum voltage for a 1080?

Yea, sounds like you're peaking on your PSU and it's giving up. Replace with a higher capacity one.
