Just read an article about Microsoft and most of the stuff they've done in the past that have cost them a lot of money.

Here's one of the more laughable bits out of the article :)

Microsoft has also managed to upset women and entire countries. A Spanish-language version of Windows XP, destined for Latin American markets, asked users to select their gender between "not specified," "male" or "bitch," because of an unfortunate error in translation.

ok, out of curiosity i translated what female and bitch are into spanish,

female = hembra
bitch = ramera

now if bitch = hembri or something very similar to hembra i could see it as being a typo, but i think an ms employee was taking the biscuit and no-one bothered to check up.

still very amusing.
