Problems updating Peerguardian

does anyone else have the same issue that if you leave PG running, it cant seem to auto update the blocklists? It just gives "error contacting URL" message and doesnt update some of the lists as scheduled. you can get round it by disabling PG temporarily and manually updating the lists, then re-enabling PG afterwards.

it's a bit of an annoying workaround though, is there a better way to do it or fix this issue?

Methinks the ip of the update server must be in your block lists somewhere

Switch on show blocked connections , try an update and then see what ip is being blocked then remove it from the lists , sorted

ill give it a go. wont that IP then just appear in the blocklist every time it does an auto-update though?!

I have found if you disable peer guardian and delete all the lists in the lists folder and try to update that tends to work....

Not if you create a perm allow list and add that ip into it

I found that manually updating PG worked best.....

The auto update doesn't work on mine either. Unless I reboot then it check at startup, otherwise I have to remember every few days to do a manual update.
