Hey everyone,

My 13" macbook pro is just coming up to a year old and recently i'd encountered a few problems with it. About 3 weeks ago i was getting random restarts, the display was tempermental and the machine was overheating. I booked a genius appointment at bluewater and (after a great deal of turmoil ) eventually got the machine back from them.

Two days later i noticed the machine would not go to sleep when the lid was closed. I therefore took the machine back again, and asked them to fix the issue.

Yesterday i got the machine back again, and obviously i'm now testing it very thoroughly to make sure nothing is wrong with it. I run windows in bootcamp and run a prime blend for about 20 minutes and frankly am concerned by what i see.

Highest temperature is 93 degrees. The Cpu idles around 55 degrees (P7550 2.26 Ghz)

Coretemp also showed that during prime only one of the cores was 100% loaded, other was around 8%.

Now this is my first mac machine, so im not sure what temps i should be getting, and im not sure if i should be hearing a fan or not ( i can't). If someone could advise me whether or not this is normal it would be greatly appreciated, as I'm about to go back to uni and i dont want this machine to fail on me.
