Problems with 4850 xfire setup after installing a 30" Dell

So my nice and shiny 3008WFP arrived this morning and I eagerly got the behemoth installed. Now for some reason Devil May Cry 4 will not go any higher than 1600x1200 (even though it worked at 1920x1200 on my old L2335) and once I have finished playing a game I lose the Aero interface in Vista.

I am using a Dual Link DVI cable and I get a perfect 2560x1600 desktop on the PC and Macbook Pro (as well as GRID) and have the hotfix drivers installed (trying the 8.7 beta's gave me a 'No Valid ATI Hardware installed' message).

Can anyone shed any light on this rather bizarre conundrum.

Yep you need to change the refresh rate in the game settings to 59 (from 60) to unlock the higher res.
