I've got a AMD 6400+ with an SB600 chipset mobo. Been running perfectly for the last 12months+ with 2GB (2x1GB) of Corsair 6400 C4. I've recently bought 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair 6400 C5.
Set the voltage to 1.9v and default timings (5-5-5-18) fitted the extra memory. When it booted Win7 the graphics card was not picked up property and went back to default res with no Aero etc. I installed the latest Cats and it worked again but I wasnt able to run Windows Experience Index for some reason.
It appeared to work ok for a bit but then started crashing. I booted back into Vista x64 and exactly the same i.e. graphics controller wasnt working.....
Removed the 2GB ram and everything works perfectly... I've had a look in the BIOS and cant see much that could fix it. I've tried the memory in other slots too.
Any ideas?
